Web3 Integration & On-Chain Functionality
At the heart of JobScan’s long-term vision is a trustless, borderless, user-controlled professional identity system. Web3 integration is not a gimmick or an optional layer — it is foundational to JobScan’s thesis: that individuals should own their professional history, reputational capital, and data. While traditional platforms silo resumes, feedback, and skills into closed ecosystems, JobScan transforms them into transferable, verifiable, composable digital assets.
Every user on JobScan can choose to mint a decentralized identity (DID) wallet tied to their account, with ENS-style naming for verified users. This identity wallet serves as the anchor for their career graph, recording task completions, job application logs, skill growth, and reputation scores as metadata stored both on-chain and via cryptographic signatures off-chain. Over time, users generate the following tokenized assets:
Skill NFTs — Non-transferable tokens representing verified proficiency in categories such as content labeling, AI evaluation, or technical writing. Issued automatically based on quality and volume.
POAP-style Achievement Badges — Proof-of-participation for events like top tasker of the month, DAO contributor, or Hackathon finalist. Shareable and social.
Resume NFT — Encrypted, view-on-request NFT resume, which can be read and verified by prospective employers or linked across other ecosystems.
Reputation Score — A dynamic, on-chain metric composed of microtask feedback, employer endorsements, and DAO activity, forming a decentralized “LinkedIn score.”
In addition, the JobScan ecosystem includes a native governance token — $JOBSCAN — used to power staking mechanisms, unlock premium services, and provide voting rights in the platform DAO. Token holders can participate in proposals, such as approving new task partners, modifying skill frameworks, or allocating grant funding. Web3 also enables frictionless global payments, task bounties, and cross-platform integration with ecosystems such as Gitcoin, Lens Protocol, and World ID.
JobScan’s Web3 layer aligns deeply with the user’s desire for sovereignty and persistence in a career landscape that is increasingly fragmented and borderless. Whether applying to a job in Lisbon, completing a gig for a DAO in Seoul, or staking tokens to verify a machine learning badge — every element of a user’s digital labor life becomes permanent, portable, and provable on JobScan.
